BALTIMORE — Senior attacker Madison Taylor and graduate student midfielder Annabel Child earned ILWomen Nike Lacrosse Midseason All-American honors, Inside Lacrosse announced on Wednesday.

Taylor received a spot on the first team, while Child garnered an honorable mention nod. Northwestern is one of eight programs represented on the first team.

After shattering the NCAA's single season goals record in 2025 (109 tallies), Taylor has picked up right where she left off this season. Through 11 games, she has netted 54 goals and dished out 18 assists. Taylor leads the Big Ten in goals and points (72).

The active leader among NCAA Division I players in career goals (299) and points (416), Taylor is 67 points away from tying Izzy Scane's program record of 483.

Child, who mainly filled a defensive role in a standout career at Harvard, has proven a dynamic addition to the Wildcat midfield in 2026. She has posted seven goals, two assists, 18 ground balls, eight caused turnovers and five draw controls this season.

The graduate student is on a six-game points streak, the longest of her collegiate career.

No. 6 Northwestern will be back in action against USC in Saturday's "Lacrosse Day in Chicago" doubleheader at Northwestern Medicine Field at Martin Stadium. Opening draw is scheduled for 2 p.m. CT on Big Ten Network.
