Northwestern to compete in final indoor meet of regular season

EVANSTON, Ill. (February 20, 2026) – After posting multiple additions to the program's all-time record boards last weekend, Northwestern track will close out the regular season portion of its indoor schedule on Saturday at the Margaret Bradley Invitational in Chicago, Ill.

Action on the track inside the University of Chicago's Henry Crown Fieldhouse in Hyde Park is set to begin at 11:30 a.m. CT.  The Wildcats are scheduled to be represented in the 400m dash, 800m run, mile run, 3,000m run, and 4x400m relay.  Links to watch and follow live results can be accessed above.

Northwestern is coming off a wildly successful weekend in which it established six new all-time top-10 marks.  Competing at the David Hemery Valentine Invitational in Boston, Mass., Ava Criniti rocketed up to second in Wildcat annals in the 5,000m run, clocking a 17-second personal best of 15:54.52 that currently ranks seventh in the Big Ten Conference.

Competing in the 3,000m run, Anna Hightower (9:09.13) took just over a second off her previous personal best, already the third fastest time in program history, while Skye Ellis (9:09.71) and Jackie Holman (9:13.94) climbed to fourth and sixth, respectively.

The pairing of Olivia Capala and Cary Drake led the 'Cats at the Blue Demon Alumni Classic. Capala clocked a personal best in the 800m run for a third straight outing, running 2:09.00 to move to second all-time at Northwestern.  Bolstered by an impressive closing finish, Drake notched the sixth fastest mile run time in program history, surging across in 4:46.99 en route to victory.

Following its trip to Hyde Park, Northwestern will turn its attention to the Big Ten Conference Indoor Championships, February 26-28, in Indianapolis, Ind.
