COLUMBUS, Ohio (April 18, 2026) – Following a 1-under-par final round, Ashley Yun claimed her highest finish of the season as Northwestern women's golf concluded the regular season with eighth place at the Therese Hession Buckeye Invitational.

The Wildcats showed improvement in each round they played, opening with a combined score of 309, before firing a 306 later that day. The 'Cats saved their best for last with a 298 in their final round for their lowest result of the week. Ohio State claimed the team title with a score of 890 (295-294-301) while Xavier's Madison Reemsnyder took individual medalist honors with a score of 213 (73-72-68).Â

Yun opened her week with a 77 in her opening round, before shaving three strokes off for a 74 in her second round. The junior came out firing in her final round, rattling off four birdies in five holes on her back nine to card a 1-under 71. Her stellar final round vaulted her to a tie for fifth, her highest result of the season to date.

Joining Yun in the top-25 was Dianna Lee, with the senior firing three straight rounds of 76 to place in a share of 20th. Megan Meng carded six birdies in her final round for a 1-over 73 to place in 29th while Hsin Tai Lin finished two shots behind Meng in 32nd. Rounding out the lineup was Lauren E. Lee, who placed in a share of 38th.
