EVANSTON, Ill. - Northwestern men's tennis unveiled its full 2025-26 schedule on Thursday, announcing both fall tournaments and winter and spring dual matches.

The season will begin with a series of fall competitions as players seek to qualify for the NCAA Individual Championships, which are set to take place from Nov. 18-23 at the USTA National Campus in Orlando, Fla. The fall slate is highlighted by a series of ITA events that offer automatic NCAA bids for top finishers; select players will appear at the ITA All-American Championships from Sept. 20-28 before the team heads to downtown Chicago for the Midwest Regional from Oct. 16-20. Finally, individuals may be selected for the Central Sectional or the Conference Masters, which run simultaneously from Nov. 6-9.

Between the ITA events, head coach Arvid Swan's squad will also participate in a series of invitational tournaments. The 'Cats will begin with the Notre Dame Invite (Sept. 26-28), then head east for the Michigan State Invite a week later (Oct. 3-5). After playing in the 68th Annual Intercollegiate (Oct. 9-12), the team will participate in the Big Ten Singles and Doubles Championships in Madison, Wis. (Oct. 30-Nov. 2).

With individual play behind them, the Wildcats will turn to dual season in January, beginning with five straight home matches to start the year. Northwestern will host Vanderbilt on Jan. 17 in the opener, then host doubleheaders against Louisville and Youngstown State (Jan. 18) and IU Indy and Cleveland State (Jan. 24). Big Ten play for the 'Cats also opens in Evanston, where they are set to host Washington and Oregon at Combe Tennis Center for the first time as conference foes (March 6-8). Northwestern will also welcome in a pair of 2025 NCAA Tournament qualifiers in Michigan State (March 20) and Michigan (March 22), then close the home schedule with matches against Purdue (April 3) and Indiana (April 5).

On the road, Northwestern will visit both last year's Big Ten regular season and tournament champions, Ohio State (March 29) and UCLA (April 12). The California road trip will also feature the Wildcats' first match at USC (April 10) before the regular season closes with a rivalry match at Illinois (April 18).
