Wildcats Take Share of Team Title at Windy City Collegiate Classic

GOLF, Ill. (September 30, 2025) – The Northwestern University women's golf team captured their first victory of the 2025-26 campaign, playing to a share of the team title at the Windy City Collegiate Classic in Golf, Illinois.
The Wildcats came in at 13 under par, finishing the event with a score of 851 (278-285-288), placing them in a tie with Duke (283-287-281) for the team championship. Monday's opening round of a ten-under 278 ranks ninth in the team's lowest rounds in program history.
Arianna Lau and Dianna Lee each paced the 'Cats in the top-10, with the duo placing in a share of sixth with a score of 212 at four under par. Lau opened her week with a three-under 69 in her first round, her lowest of the week, with the freshman taking her third consecutive top-10 finish of the season. Dianna Lee's 12 birdies on the week propelled her to her highest finish of the season to date, highlighted by a two-under 70 in her second round.
Megan Meng continued her hot start to the campaign, matching her career-low score of 68 in her opening round to place in a share of 11th with a score of 213 (68-73-72).
Hsin Tai Lin fired a two-under 70 in her first round to place in 28th with 219 strokes (70-76-73) while Ashley Yun carded a 71 in her second round to place in 35th with a 221 (75-71-75).
On the individual side, Jiayi Wang placed in 40th while Lauren E. Lee took a share of 62nd in her collegiate debut.
