Northwestern Back In Action For Jackson T. Stephens Cup

EVANSTON, Ill. (September 14, 2025) – After opening the season with a fourth-place finish at the ANNIKA Intercollegiate, Northwestern women's golf returns home to compete in the Jackson T. Stephens Cup in Lake Bluff, Ill.
The event opens with 36 holes on Monday at Shoreacres, followed by another 18 holes on Tuesday. A stroke play champion will be awarded following play on Tuesday before the event concludes with match play on Wednesday.
Stroke play opens with tee times off of holes one and 10 starting at 7:00 a.m. CT, with the final round set to get underway on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. CT. Match play will commence the following day with a 10:30 a.m. CT start.
The Field
Northwestern joins a loaded field featuring the likes of Howard, Oregon, Prairie View A&M, South Carolina, Stanford, Texas, the U.S. Naval Academy, and Wake Forest.
The Leaderboard
Live scoring for both stroke and match play can be accessed via Scoreboard, with Golf Channel broadcasting the event from 4:00-7:00 p.m. CT on Monday and 3:00-6:00 CT on Tuesday and Wednesday.

The Wildcats put together an impressive final round en route to placing fourth at the ANNIKA Intercollegiate in Lake Elmo, Minnesota, finishing with four golfers within the top-25 of the leaderboard. Northwestern fired a round of six-under-par on the final day of competition, finishing the event at two-under.
Arianna Lau paced the 'Cats on the leaderboard in her collegiate debut, finishing the event at four-under-par. Lau's performance earned her a share of fifth place and she was later named the Big Ten Freshman of the Week for her play.

Following the Jackson T. Stephens Cup, the 'Cats are set to host the Windy City Collegiate Classic, September 29-30, at Glen View Club in Golf, Ill. The event consistently draws one of the deepest fields in collegiate golf, with this year's edition featuring eight teams who qualified for the NCAA Championship Finals last season.
