2025 Field Hockey Season Preview Pt. 1
"We are very excited for our '25 newcomers," head coach Tracey Fuchs said. "We have a diverse group, from experienced graduate students, as well as undergraduates and four first-years. We look forward to their immediate impact as we attack and vie for more championships."
#5 Kerry McCormick (B)
A junior transfer from Haddonfield, N.J., McCormick joins the 'Cats from Old Dominion, where she played 38 career games. In 2024, she earned preseason All-Big East recognition and was a two-time captain in high school.

#13 Grace Schulze (F)
A graduate transfer from Greenwich, Conn., Schulze joins the 'Cats from Princeton, where she was a two-time All-Ivy League forward selection. Schulze spent her last season with the Tigers as a captain, and had the second-most assists on the team.

#14 Kate Janssen (M)
A sophomore transfer from Laren, The Netherlands, Janssen joins the 'Cats from Delaware, where she played in all 22 games in her rookie season. The midfielder earned CAA All-Rookie honors, for her six-point season, as she helped the Blue Hens to an NCAA tournament berth.

#1 Lindsey Brown (M)
A first-year from Boylston, Mass., Brown joins the 'Cats from Algonquin Regional High School where she ranks second in program history with 90 career points. She notched 25 goals and eight assists in her senior season. Brown was also a part of two USA FH U18 National Teams.

#15 Annika de Haan (M)
A first-year from Amsterdam, The Netherlands, de Haan joins the 'Cats with top-level youth experience in the Netherlands and Spain. De Haan was a member of the HC Athena Amsterdam first team and the North Holland U15 regional team.

#16 Julia Soriano (M/B)
A first-year from Wilmette, Ill., Soriano joins the 'Cats as a local standout from New Trier High School where she earned First Team All-State honors. Soriano was a three-time state champion and four-year varsity letter winner. She earned first-team All-State and All-Conference honors in her senior season.

#39 Kayla Joyce (GK)
A first-year from Baden, Pa., Joyce joins the 'Cats from North Allegheny High School where she notched over 600 career saves in the last two seasons. She was a first-team All-State honoree and three-time letter winner, as well as a two-time All-WPIAL All-Star.
