EVANSTON, Ill. – For the second-straight week, Northwestern lacrosse junior attacker Madison Taylor's prolific scoring netted her weekly honors from the Big Ten Conference.

Taylor was named the Big Ten's Offensive Player of the Week after putting up a career-high 11 points in Sunday's 19-10 win over Oregon. She achieved the feat while only playing in the first half as she scored or assisted on 11 of NU's 17 goals in the opening half, including netting five of the team's final six tallies to help No. 3 Northwestern build a 17-5 halftime lead. This is the third-straight time that she has outscored NU's opponent by herself (11 points for, 10 Oregon goals).

Overall, Taylor leads the country with 71 goals (5.07 per game) and 100 points (7.14 per game) and has recorded six or more points in 12 of 14 games, with hat tricks on 13 occasions.

The Wildcats are back in action on Thursday, April 17, when they host No. 13 Michigan at Northwestern Medicine Field at Martin Stadium. Opening draw set for 7 p.m. CT and the contest will be televised on BTN.
