EVANSTON, Ill. – The Wildcat Diving team is ready to flip and twist at the 2025 NCAA Zone C Diving Championships that will be held March 10–12 in Columbus, Ohio at the McCorkle Aquatic Pavilion, hosted by The Ohio State University. The meet will be streamed on B1G+ and live stats will be available at DiveMeets.com.
Springboard action is set for Noon CT on Monday and Tuesday. Wednesday's final day of the qualifier begins at 10:00 a.m. CT with the platform competition.
Unlike swimmers, divers earn their spots at the NCAA Championships through the competition at their respective Zone Diving Championships. Zone C, where the Wildcats will compete, offers qualifying spots for both men and women across various diving events, including the 1M, 3M, and Platform.
The championships will help determine which divers will qualify for the NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships, which will take place March 19–22 in Federal Way, Washington. ESPN+ will provide live digital coverage of the preliminary and finals sessions.
Representing the Wildcats are seven divers, each geared up to showcase their skills in specific events:
Isabella Chen: 1-meter, 3-meter and Platform
Caroline Li: 1-meter and Platform
Chloe Sharpe: 3-meter
Ryan Augustine: 1-meter and 3-meter
Adam Cohen: 1-meter, 3-meter and Platform
Kyle Ly: 1-meter, 3-meter and Platform
Nolan Rooker: 1-meter, 3-meter and Platform
The Wildcats' schedule at the NCAA Zone C Championships is as follows:
Monday, March 10, 2025: Preliminary and Quarterfinal events for Men 1m Championship and Women 3m Championship, followed by the Finals.
Tuesday, March 11, 2025: Preliminary and Quarterfinal events for Men 3m Championship and Women 1m Championship, followed by the Finals.
Wednesday, March 12, 2025: Preliminary and Quarterfinal events for Women and Men Platform, followed by the Finals.
The NCAA Diving Zones Championships are crucial for divers, as they provide the opportunity to qualify for the NCAA Championships based on their performances in their respective zones. The top divers from each event at their Zone Championships automatically qualify for NCAAs, making each dive at the Zones Championships vital for securing a spot at the pinnacle of collegiate diving.
