EVANSTON, Ill. - Ayah Elnady has earned American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Midwest All-Region honors for the fourth straight season, the organization announced Tuesday. Elnady, an honorable mention, is the first Northwestern player to earn a spot on an All-Region Team since 2023.Β
The graduate student was previously named to All-Region teams in each of the last three seasons at Kansas, including first-team honors in 2023.
Β
The award adds to an already impressive resume for the graduate student, who picked up All-Conference honors last week. The accolades come after Elnady led the Wildcats in kills (371) and digs (281) in 2025, helping her to a team-high eight double-doubles throughout the season.
Elnady was also elite from the service line, collectingΒ 44 aces to contribute to the 'Cats' best serving season since the 1990s. One of three Wildcats to pass the 40-ace mark this season, her seven aces in the opener against New Mexico State alone tied for fifth most by a Wildcat in a single match in program history. She concludes her collegiate career with 175 total aces, having tallied at least 25 in each year of her career.
She also finishes with 1,566 kills, 1,132 digs and 187 blocks across 521 sets of action.
