Baseball Announces 2026 Schedule

EVANSTON, Ill. – Northwestern baseball announced its 2026 schedule on Thursday. The Wildcats are set to host 22 games at Rocky and Berenice Miller Park, with the home opener set for March 10 against UIC.
The Wildcats will open the season at Rice (Feb. 13-15), before traveling to Spartanburg, S.C., for two games each against Cornell and Boston College (Feb. 20-22). NU then heads to Atlanta for a three-game series at Georgia Tech (Feb. 27-March 1). The 'Cats will close out the season-opening road swing at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis with games against South Dakota State, Omaha, and UNLV (March 6-8).
Northwestern opens its home slate on March 10 against UIC at Miller Park. The Wildcats begin Big Ten play at home against USC (March 13-15). NU's first Big Ten road trip is bookended by three-game sets at Oregon (March 20-22) and Washington (March 27-29), with a game at Portland (March 24) scheduled for the midweek.
The 'Cats will return home for nine straight games in Chicagoland. They will host Valparaiso (March 31) and Michigan State (April 3-5), then make a short trip to UIC (April 7). NU will come back to Miller Park for a three-game series against Purdue (April 10-12) and a midweek against UIC (April 14). Northwestern will play its next six Big Ten contests on the road, making trips to Michigan (April 17-20) and Minnesota (April 24-26), with home midweek games against Bradley (April 21) and St. Thomas (April 22) in between.
Northwestern will begin the final month of the regular season at home, hosting Indiana (May 1-3) and Illinois State (May 5) before traveling to Illinois (May 8-10) for the penultimate series of the regular season. NU will close out the regular season at home with a three-game series against Rutgers (May 14-16).
The 2026 Big Ten Baseball Tournament is scheduled for May 19-24 at Charles Schwab Field in Omaha, Neb., the site of the Men's College World Series.
