Northwestern Men’s Golf Adds Trio During Early Signing Period

EVANSTON, Ill. (November 12, 2025) – Northwestern University head men's golf coach David Inglis announced the signing of three student-athletes to Athletics Scholarship Agreements on Wednesday. Carter Gaede (Manhattan Beach, CA./Loyola High School), Carl Möller (Stocksund, Sweden/Celsiusskolan Uppsala) and Kuan Zhou (Houston, Texas/Memorial High School) will join the Wildcats for the 2026-27 academic year.
"I am really excited to welcome Kuan, Carl and Carter to Northwestern," Inglis said. "What stood out to me in recruiting this class was their commitment to excellence, their desire to win championships, and their love for Northwestern. Coach Chien did an outstanding job identifying these players who match our program and department goals."
CARTER GAEDE
Manhattan Beach, CA • Loyola High School
High School/Club: Varsity golfer for four years at Loyola High School, team captain his senior year … Four-year All-Mission League First Team player … Mission League All-Conference First Team in 2023 and 2024 … Competed at the 2023 and 2024 US Junior Championship … Winner of the 2024 AJGA Seri Pak Desert Junior Championship … Runner-up at the 2024 AJGA Coca-Cola Junior Championship … Took victory at the 2023 FCG San Diego County Classic … Claimed his second victory of 2023 at the FCG Thanksgiving Slam … 2017 Drive, Chip & Putt National Champion … Intends to study economics at Northwestern.

High School/Club: Competed for two years at Celsiusskolan Uppsala, where his team won the Swedish National School Championship in 2024 … Took victory at the 2025 Swedish Invitational GolfTech Tour 1 in Spain … Claimed a runner-up finish at the Swedish Invitational Camp in 2024 … Placed in ninth at the Svenska Juniortouren Final in 2024 … Finished in 10th at the 2024 Svenska Juniortouren Elit … Took ninth place at the 2024 R&A Boys Amateur Championship … Competed for Sweden at the European Boys' Team Championship in 2024 … Winner of the Fairhaven Trophy in 2024 … Intends to study business/economics at Northwestern.
