Nollan Announces Addition of Campbell Paris

EVANSTON, Ill. - Northwestern volleyball welcomed sophomore transfer Campbell Paris to the roster ahead of winter quarter, Head Coach Tim Nollan announced Monday. Paris, an outside hitter, will join the 'Cats after two seasons at South Carolina.
"I am very excited to welcome Campbell to the Northwestern volleyball family!" said Nollan, "She is a skilled attacker and blocker and I can't wait to get her in the practice gym. It is always great to keep talent here in the state and to have her come back to play at Northwestern is awesome. We want to keep elite players here and she is the next in what we believe is a long line of in-state talent coming to Northwestern."
A native of Barrington, Ill., Paris appeared in 129 sets over 42 matches with the Gamecocks, including three sets of action during their 2024 NCAA Tournament contest against Dayton. She racked up 11 matches with double-digit kills in her two seasons, and her .210 hitting percentage during the 2023 season led South Carolina outside hitters. She finished her first year in Columbia ranked fourth on the team in both kills (188) and blocks (60).
The success followed a stand-out high school career at Barrington High School, where Paris helped the Broncos to their first regional title since 2006 during her junior season. She was ranked eighth in the class of 2023 for the state of Illinois and consistently in the top 150 nationally by Prep Volleyball throughout her high school career.
On her new team, Paris said, "Northwestern has an outstanding academic reputation combined with a highly competitive volleyball program in the Big Ten. To have an opportunity to play close to home in front of my family and friends makes Northwestern a perfect match! I'm excited to be a Wildcat and to work with my teammates and coaches to be part of the team's future success!"
