Northwestern Hosts Toledo at Northwestern Medicine Field at Martin Stadium

EVANSTON, Ill. – Fresh off a 2-0 clean sheet against Marquette, Northwestern is set to welcome Toledo to Northwestern Medicine Field at Martin Stadium on Sunday, August 25 at 1 p.m. CT on B1G+.

Northwestern cruised by Marquette 2-0 in the first ever game at Northwestern Medicine Field at Martin Stadium. Kennedy Roesch put the 'Cats on the board in the 13th minute, assisted by Nicole Doucette. In the 38th minute, Josie Aulicino doubled the lead from the penalty spot after Keira Wagner was fouled inside the 18-yard box. The Wildcats outshot the Golden Eagles 18-3 in the victory, including a 9-1 advantage in shots on goal. Marquette's three shots are the fewest by a Wildcat opponent since NU limited Boston University to just three shots on August 31, 2023.
