Women's Soccer Set to Open Home Slate against Marquette

EVANSTON, Ill. – Northwestern women's soccer is set to open its 2024 home slate in the fist event at Northwestern Medicine Field at Martin Stadium against Marquette on Thursday, August 22 at 4 p.m. CT on B1G+.
Last Time Out
Northwestern dropped a 2-0 battle at RV Virginia on Sunday, August 18. UVA scored in the ninth minute and tacked on in the 44th minute. The Wildcats held a 2-1 advantage in shots on goal. Maddie Finnerty, Emma Phillips, and Tanna Schornstein played all 90 minutes for NU.

Thursday's matchup will mark the 13th all-time meeting between Northwestern and Marquette on the pitch. The 'Cats won the most recent meeting in the 2023 season opener, 4-0 in Milwaukee.
