EVANSTON, Ill. - Northwestern baseball is set to host Minnesota for a three-game season finale series at Rocky and Berenice Miller Park. All three games this weekend will be streamed on B1G+.

The Wildcats (17-32, 3-18 B1G) downed the Beacons (14-35, 6-18 MVC) in a 7-2 win on Tuesday at Miller Park. The 'Cats had a huge third inning, scoring five runs off an Owen McElfatrick RBI groundout, a Trent Liolios RBI double, and a Lorenzo Rios homer, his first as a Wildcat. Starter Kyle Potthoff set the stage, allowing one run over four innings with seven strikeouts. Luke Benneche earned the win, allowing only one hit in two scoreless innings.
