EVANSTON, Ill. – Northwestern baseball will host Purdue for a three-game series this weekend. Friday night's matchup is scheduled for 7 p.m. CT at Wrigley Field on BTN. Saturday and Sunday's contests are slated for 1 p.m. CT on B1G+ at Rocky and Berenice Miller Park.

Earlier this week, Northwestern walked off Illinois State in a midweek matchup, 7-6 in 10 innings. After Illinois State took a 1-0 lead, Northwestern put up four runs in the bottom of the second, highlighted by Griffin Arnone's two-RBI single, to take a 4-1 lead. Illinois State retook the lead in the top of the fifth, before Griffin Arnone's two-run home run put NU back up 6-5. The Redbirds scored in the top of the ninth to tie the game at six and send it to extra innings, before Trent Liolios's sacrifice fly scored Bennett Markinson in the bottom of the 10th inning to give the Wildcats the walkoff win.
