Wildcats Gear up for NCAA Diving Zones

Evanston, Ill. - Wildcat Diving is poised to make waves at the NCAA Diving Zones Championships, scheduled to take place at the Ralph Wright Natatorium in Louisville, Kentucky, from March 13th to March 16th. Unlike swimmers, divers earn their spots at the NCAA Championships through the competition at their respective Zone Diving Championships.
The NCAA Zone C event will take place in at the Ralph Wright Natatorium in Louisville, Kentucky hosted by the University of Louisville and will be held March 14-16. Zone C, where the Wildcats will compete, offers qualifying spots for both men and women across various diving events, including the 1M, 3M, and Platform.
Representing the Wildcats are seven divers, each geared up to showcase their skills in specific events:
- Lydia Georgopoulou: Competing in 1M and Platform events.
- Markie Hopkins: Participating in 1M, 3M, and Platform events.
- Shauntel Lim: Diving in the 1M event.
- Chloe Sharpe: Competing in 1M and 3M events.
- Ryan Augustine: Participating in 1M, 3M, and Platform events.
- Adam Cohen: Diving in the 1M and 3M events.
- Alex Mo: Competing in 1M and 3M events.
The Wildcats' schedule at the NCAA Zone C Championships is as follows:
- Wednesday, Mar 13, 2024: Warm-up sessions.
- Thursday, Mar 14, 2024: Preliminary and Quarterfinal events for Women 1m Championship and Men 3m Championship, followed by the Finals.
- Friday, Mar 15, 2024: Preliminary and Quarterfinal events for Women 3m Championship and Men 1m Championship, followed by the Finals.
- Saturday, Mar 16, 2024: Preliminary and Quarterfinal events for Women and Men Platform, followed by the Finals.
