Wake Forest, N.C. native started in all 17 games this season for Northwestern

EVANSTON, Ill. (December 12, 2024) – For the second time in as many seasons, Northwestern University senior Collin McCamy (Wake Forest, N.C./Crossroads Flex) has been named an All-North Region selection by the United Soccer Coaches, the organization announced on Wednesday.  A Second Team pick, McCamy is the Wildcats' sixth All-Region honoree since head coach Russell Payne's arrival prior to the 2021 season.

McCamy closed out an outstanding career with the 'Cats this past season, starting in all 17 games for Payne's team.  The Wake Forest, N.C. native scored in Northwestern's 2-1 come-from-behind win over Drake on August 30, and also added assists against Marquette (Sept. 9) and Maryland (Sept. 27).

For his efforts, McCamy was recognized as a Second Team All-Big Ten Conference honoree following the conclusion of the regular season.  The 6-foot-2 midfielder wrapped up his Wildcat career as a three-time All-Big Ten selection.  McCamy was a fixture in the Wildcat lineup during his stay at Northwestern, starting in 56 of his 67 appearances.
