COLLEGE STATION, Texas - Northwestern women's tennis will look to continue its undefeated season this weekend when it takes on Texas A&M and either TCU or Rice in the ITA Kickoff in College Station.
In their last two matches, the 'Cats swept a doubleheader against Butler and Eastern Michigan at home last Saturday. The team didn't drop a single set in the pair of 7-0 victories, improving to 3-0 on the season.
To open action at the ITA Kickoff, the Wildcats will face Texas A&M at noon CT on Saturday. The Aggies have started the season with a 2-2 record, most recently losing to San Diego 2-5.
Following that matchup, Northwestern will take on either TCU (1-0) or Rice (0-1) at noon CT on Sunday. The winner of this weekend's action in College Station will advance to the ITA Indoor Championship next weekend in Seattle.
Next up for the 'Cats is a trip to Atlanta, where they'll take on Georgia Tech next Sunday, Feb. 4 at 11 a.m. CT.
