EVANSTON, Ill. – No. 20 Northwestern returns home to host Weber State on Thursday, Sept. 7. Kickoff from Martin Stadium is set for 7 p.m. CT on B1G+.

Last time out, Northwestern tied Vanderbilt 3-3 in a rematch of the 2022 NCAA Tournament Second round. Aurea del Carmen struck first in the 7th minute, curling a shot past the Vanderbilt goalkeeper. After VU tied the game in the 14th minute, Meg Boade responded in the 22nd minute, disposessing a defender and chipping the Vanderbilt goalkeeper to retake the lead. Ella Hase headed home a Meg Boade corner kick to give NU a 3-1 lead that it held into the break. Vanderbilt scored in the 50th minute and again in the 85th minute to force a draw.

NU is unbeaten through six games for the first time since 2018. The 'Cats rank second in the Big Ten in scoring margin (2.66), trailing only Nebraska (3.00). Northwestern's 20 goals through six games are the most in program history. NU has scored three or more goals in five of its six games this season.

Four different Wildcats have notched a goal and an assist in the same game this season (Aulicino, Boade, del Carmen, Hase). Boade has done so three times (at Marquette, vs. Boston U, at Vanderbilt).

Meg Boade and Josie Aulicino both rank tied for first in the Big Ten  and tied for fifth nationally with six assists each.

Ella Hase has tallied four goals so far this season, matching her total from her previous three seasons combined.

Following her first collegiate goal against Boston U, Megan Norkett earned her first career start, logging 56 minutes against Vanderbilt.

Sunday's matchup will mark the first all-time meeting between Northwestern and Weber State on the pitch. WSU is still searching for its first win of the season, having lost each of its first five games. Sayler Schlosser paces Weber State offensively with two goals on the season.

Following Thursday's contest, Northwestern will travel to Virginia Tech to square off with the Hokies on Sunday, Sept. 10 at 12:30 p.m. CT on ACC Network.
