EVANSTON, Ill. – Northwestern women's soccer will host Oakland on Thursday, August 24 at 7:30 p.m. CT at Martin Stadium on B1G+.
Northwestern returns to Martin Stadium following a scoreless draw with Kansas State on Sunday. NU outshot K-State 19-3, including a 5-1 advantage in shots on goal, but was unable to find the back of the net.
Northwestern is yet to allow a goal in the 2023 season, forcing back-to-back shutouts to open the season for the first time since 2017.
Three Wildcats (Nicole Doucette, Emma Phillips, and Caterina Regazzoni) have played all 180 minutes this season.
Thursday's matchup will mark the sixth all-time meeting between Northwestern and Oakland on the pitch. The two sides played to a scoreless draw last year in Rochester. Northwestern is undefeated all-time against the Golden Grizzlies, with a 3-2-0 record.
Following Thursday's match against Oakland, the 'Cats will trek to Toledo for their second road game of the season. Kickoff from Ohio is set for 12 p.m. CT on ESPN+.
