‘Cats Wrap Up Day Two of Competition at NCAA Women’s Championships

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – Northwestern scored its first points of the 2023 NCAA Women's Swimming and Diving Championships as the Wildcats wrap up day two of competition in Knoxville.
Lindsay Ervin, Ashley Strouse, Jamie Brennan and Ally Larson combined to finish 16th in the 200-yard freestyle relay in a time of 1:28.71, the sixth-fastest relay performance in Northwestern history.
In individual events, Lola Mull finished 44th in the 500-yard freestyle in 4:44.48, Markie Hopkins was 46th in 1-meter diving with 230.30 points, and Brennan touched 60th in the 200-yard individual medley in a time of 2:00.91.
Day three proceedings see Miriam Guevara compete in the 100-yard butterfly and backstroke, Strouse and Brennan in the 200-yard freestyle, and Hopkins in 3-meter diving.
