SPARTANBURG, S.C. - Northwestern fell 9-0 to USC Upstate on Sunday.
Junior Luke Benneche (0-1) got the ball to start for Northwestern (0-6) and took the loss. Junior Ben Grable was a bright spot for the Wildcats, coming out of the bullpen and throwing one shutout inning, allowing no hits, with one walk and two strikeouts.
