HOFFMAN ESTATES, Ill. (December 30, 2023) β Four Wildcats secured podium finishes as Northwestern wrestling played host to the 59th Annual Ken Kraft Midlands Championships this weekend inside the NOW Arena in suburban Hoffman Estates, Ill.

Trevor Chumbley led the way for the 'Cats, taking second at 157 pounds to secure his second Midlands podium finish in as many years.Β Chumbley scored bonus-point wins over James Harrington (Harvard) by technical fall, 20-5, and Jude Fisher (Penn) by major decision, 10-2, before besting Central Michigan's Johnny Lovett in tiebreakers, 2-1, in a razor-thin semifinal-round matchup.
