PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – Northwestern women's basketball is set to close out non-conference play on Thursday in Philadelphia as they match up with the Temple Owls at Liacouras Center. Tip-off between the two teams is set for 10 a.m. CT on ESPN+.

Thursday's game will be the second between the Owls and the 'Cats and the first in Philadelphia. The teams first met in 2021 at Welsh-Ryan Arena - a game Northwestern won 68-58. The 'Cats (4-7) will look to make it back-to-back wins after defeating Bradley at home on Sunday, while the Owls (6-5) try to extend their win streak to four straight.

In Sunday's victory over the Braves, the 'Cats got help from all parts of their lineup. For the fifth time this season, four Wildcat scorers reached double figures. The group was led by Caileigh Walsh, with 19, and Caroline Lau, who scored a season-high 17. Rounding out the group was Paige Mott (16) and Melannie Daley (13).

On those baskets, Northwestern recorded 25 assists as a team. Daley and first year Casey Harter led the team with six apiece - a career high for both players - and Lau continued her impressive pace with five more as well. The three became the first trio of Wildcats to all record five or more assists in the same game since 2018.

Thursday's game will be the 'Cats' final matchup before their holiday break. They'll return to action on Dec. 30, when they host Rutgers at Welsh-Ryan Arena to kick off the Big Ten portion of their schedule. That game is set to tip off at 2 p.m.
