EVANSTON, Ill. – Justin Weiss and Fritz Volmar each earned midseason honors from Top Drawer Soccer. Weiss was ranked No. 34 in Top Drawer's National Top 100 Rankings and Volmar was ranked No. 7 in Top Drawer's Freshmen Top 100 Rankings.

Weiss leads the Big Ten in shots (44), shots on goal (22), assists (7), points (21), and ranks second in goals (7). Weiss is one of just five players nationally with seven or more goals and seven or more assists. Earlier this season, Weiss earned Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week honors after a 7-point outing (three goals, one assist) against UIC.

First-year defender Volmar's breakout season earned him a place on Top Drawer's Freshmen Top 100 Rankings. The Peoria, Ill. native scored his first collegiate goal in a 4-2 win at Martin Stadium against Ohio State. Volmar has appeared in all 15 games and has earned the start in 14 consecutive games.

Weiss and Volmar return to action on Sunday at Michigan with a shot at the Big Ten Championship. Kickoff from Ann Arbor is set for 12:30 p.m. CT on B1G+.
