Cross Country Concludes Regular Season at Bradley Pink Classic

PEORIA, Ill. - Northwestern cross country closed out their regular season on Friday at the Bradley Pink Classic. While many of Jill Miller's regulars rested, the slate of nine Northwestern runners finished seventh overall as a team.

Graduate transfer Adele Magaud led all Wildcats with a time of 21:51.70, which ranked 33rd overall. She was followed closely by Skye Ellis, who finished in 21:55.40, good for a 35th place finish.

Emily Casaclang set a 6k personal record for the second straight meet; after finishing in 22:31.95 at the Loyola Lakefront Challenge, she crossed the line 65th with a time of 22:17.90 in Peoria on Friday.

With their regular season behind them, the Wildcats will now prepare for the start of postseason action, which begins in two weeks at the Big Ten Championships. The women's 6k is set to begin in Madison, Wisconsin at 11:45 a.m. CT on October 27.
