The 'Cats will open the two-match swing through The Sunshine State in Tampa, Fla. on Sunday, February 26 with an 11 a.m. (CT) clash at the USF Varsity Tennis Courts. A daunting matchup against No. 7 Texas A&M at the United States Tennis Association National Campus in Orlando, Fla. on Monday, February 27 at 12 p.m. (CT) closes out the trip.

Northwestern started fast and never looked back, defeating visiting Kansas State, 5-2, this past Sunday at the Combe Tennis Center.

The 'Cats were able to secure the doubles point jumped out to an early lead with a 6-4 victory from Christina Hand and Justine Leong in addition to a 6-1 win from Briana Crowley and Maria Shusharina.

Northwestern kept rolling in singles action, with straight set wins by Crowley (6-3, 6-1), Kiley Rabjohns (6-2, 6-4), and Leong (6-3, 6-4) clinching a victory for the Wildcats before Shusharina (7-6 (8-6), 2-6, 11-9) added on to close the afternoon.

Northwestern finds itself ranked No. 63 in the latest NCAA Division I Women's Team Rankings, which were released on Tuesday by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA). The Wildcats were one of 11 Big Ten programs to appear in the poll.

On the individual front, Hand cracked the top 100 in the women's singles rankings, landing at No. 99.
