No. 9 Northwestern Roars Back for 4-2 Victory over Nebraska

LINCOLN, Neb. –– After conceding in the first minute, No. 9 Northwestern roared back to defeat Nebraska 4-2 Thursday at Barbara Hibner Field.
The win brought the Wildcats to 8-1-1 overall and 2-0-0 in Big Ten play. The 8-1-1 record is Northwestern's best through ten games since starting 9-1-0 in 2016.
How it Happened
Nebraska grabbed a 1-0 lead when Reagan Raabe scored in the 1st minute.
The Wildcats leveled the game on a goal from first-year Caterina Regazzoni -- her second goal of the season -- in the 8th minute.
Northwestern then took a 2-1 lead when Ella Hase beat her defender and crossed into the box, where Meg Boade finished it off. Lily Gilbertson was credited with an assist.
The Wildcats went up 3-1 with a 29th-minute goal from Aurea Del Carmen, her third goal of the season. Regazzoni assisted the goal.
Nebraska narrowed the gap to 3-2 game on Abbey Schwarz's goal in the 45th minute, assisted by Lauryn Anglim.
The Wildcats took a 4-2 advantage thanks to a 70th-minute goal from Boade, her fourth goal of the season. Regazzoni assisted the goal. The 4-2 held to the end of the game.
