The Wildcats competing for a spot on college fencing's biggest stage are:

Epee:
Julia Falinska
Emma Scala
Hanna Lipthay

Foil:
Anna Biasco
Rowan Park
Sarah Filby

Sabre:
Sky Miller
Alexis Browne
Abigail Swallow
Levi Hoogendoorn
Kailing Sathyanath

Swallow, Biasco, Filby, Falinska and Scala will return to Regionals after representing Northwestern at the event in 2020, before the NCAA Championships were canceled.

After an abbreviated spring season in 2021, Northwestern sent the maximum six qualifiers to the NCAA Fencing Championships - Biasco, Falinska and Sky Miller will look to return to the NCAA Championships with a strong performance in Columbus.

Chicago's Big Ten Team claimed a second-place team finish at the Central Collegiate Fencing Conference Championship at Welsh-Ryan Arena last month, winning the epee title with a perfect 5-0 performance from the group headlined by Falinska, Scala and Lipthay.

This year's NCAA Championships will be held March 24-27 at Castellan Family Fencing Center in Notre Dame, Ind.
