EVANSTON, IL – Northwestern volleyball could not overcome a strong effort from the Michigan State Spartans' offense Sunday, falling in three sets (20-25, 26-28, 27-29) at Welsh-Ryan Arena.
The loss dropped Northwestern's record to 17-13 overall and 6-12 in Big Ten action.
The Wildcats were led by a double-double from Hanna Lesiak, who registered 13 kills and 10 digs on the day. Temi Thomas-Ailara also added 17 kills to help the attack. On the defensive end, Megan Miller chipped in for with 10 digs to go with three blocks from Desiree Becker.
