MINNEAPOLIS - Northwestern fell 31-3 to Minnesota on the road Saturday afternoon at Huntington Bank Stadium. The Wildcats fell to 1-9 (1-6 B1G), while the Golden Gophers improved to 7-3 (4-3 B1G).
Evan Hull totaled 54 yards to lead the Northwestern's ground attack in the game, picking up 4.2 yards per carry along the way. Hull also tacked on 44 receiving yards. Malik Washington was the go-to target in the passing game, as he caught six passes and tied his career-high of 97 yards.
First-year Devin Turner was a bright spot defensively, tying for the team-lead with a career-high 10 tackles, with eight solo stops, while also forcing a fumble. Rod Heard II tied Turner for the team-lead with 10 tackles.
