The preseason 18th ranked Wildcat Women welcome back eight members of their 2022 NCAA team headlined by two-time All-American Lola Mull. The historic NCAA Championship squad finished 18th in the nation and had seven women named to All-American Honors. In addition to the strong returning crew, the Northwestern women bring in one of the top freshman classes in the country, including Junior National runner-up Hana Shimizu-Bowers.
On the men's side, school record holder and All-American Honorable Mention Kevin Houseman is coming off an impressive summer where he made his Senior Team USA debut, helping the Americans to a victory against Australia at the 2022 Duel in the Pool in August. World Champion Federico Burisso is another notable returnee as the number 24 ranked Wildcat men continue to climb the ranks of the B1G and National Rankings. Junior National Team Member Matthew Lucky joins the team as he looks to transition from a great summer representing the USA Junior Team at Junior Pan Pacific Championships.
