COLUMBUS, Ohio –– Northwestern fell 2-1 on the road against No. 15 Ohio State Sunday (Oct. 16) at Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium.
Northwestern dropped to 2-7-4 overall and 0-4-2 in Big Ten play with the loss.
How it Happened
Ohio State started the scoring when Anthony Samways scored in the 54th minute after Christian Garner made the initial save on a penalty kick.
The Wildcats evened the game on a goal from Jason Gajadhar -- his third goal of the season -- in the 66th minute.
Parker Grinstead scored the winner in the 79th minute. Neither team scored again in the match.
