EAST LANSING, Mich. – Northwestern is set to travel to East Lansing this Saturday for a matchup against No.10 Michigan State. Tip-off is set for 11 a.m. CT, with coverage live on Big Ten Network.

The Wildcats are currently 8-6 overall after dropping a 94-87 decision to Maryland in a double-overtime showdown. Pete Nance led the 'Cats with a career-high 28 points and 14 rebounds. Nance also collected his first 20-point double-double in conference play.

Saturday will mark the 134th meeting between Northwestern and Michigan State. Earlier this month, Northwestern fell to the Spartans 73-67. Northwestern opened up a lead as high as 13 points as the 'Cats closed out the first half with a 33-26 lead. However the Spartans closed the deficit to open the second half en route to a six-point victory.

Pete Nance led with 13 points before fouling out, followed by Boo Buie and Chase Audige with 12 points each. Buie currently ranks second in the Big Ten in assists after tallying four against Maryland.

A win on Saturday would snap the Spartans nine-game winning streak. The Spartans are currently 8-0 at home and 5-0 in the Big Ten. The last time Northwestern defeated Michigan in East Lansing was in 2009 in a 81-74 win.
