Fencing
Northwestern will send the maximum six qualifiers to the 2021 NCAA Fencing Championships, one of just six schools to earn all six possible spots in the women's competition. This year's championships will be hosted by Penn State at the Bryce Jordan Center in University Park, Pennsylvania, March 27-28, 2021.

The Wildcats contingent includes senior Justine Banbury (foil), sophomore Anna Biasco (foil), sophomore Blodwen Bindas (épée), junior Julia Falinska (épée), sophomore Ilsa Hoffman (sabre) and first-year Sky Miller (sabre). Biasco and Falinska qualified for the 2020 NCAA Championships which were ultimately canceled by the COVID-19 pandemic, and Falinska made her NCAA debut in 2019 as a rookie, and earned All-America honors and the highest finish by a Northwestern fencer since Dayana Sarkisova in 2013.

Head coach Zach Moss led Northwestern to the inaugural Central Collegiate Fencing Conference championship this season, the 'Cats third conference crown under his guidance.

Men's Swimming & Diving
Northwestern will send three qualifiers to the 2021 NCAA Championships beginning this week in Greensboro, North Carolina. Senior Connor Lamastra (200m fly) and sophomores Marcus Mok (200m breaststroke) and Kevin Houseman (100m breaststroke) will represent the Wildcats at NCAA's, with the 100m fly taking place on Friday and the 200m breast on Saturday.

Earlier this month at the Big Ten Championships, Lamstra took bronze in the 200m fly, shattering NU's best time in the event with a mark of 1:42.68, while the sophomore duo of Marcus Mok and Kevin Houseman finished ninth and tenth respectively in the 200 Breast Finals, both qualifying for the 'NCAA B' cut line.

Softball
For the first time since May 19, 2019, the Wildcats will play a home game at Sharon J. Drysdale Field. The 'Cats host Wisconsin for a four-game series beginning on Friday at 3 p.m. CT.

Northwestern is off to a fantastic 11-1 start to lead the Big Ten, thanks to incredible pitching. Junior Danielle Williams leads the conference with a 7-0 record and has posted an incredible 0.38 ERA in 37.0 IP. She has thrown four complete games in six starts, including two shutouts. First-year Lauren Boyd threw a shutout in her first-career start and has compiled a 1.56 ERA in 27.0 IP.

On the offensive side, Skyler Shellmyer is tied for the conference lead with a .500 batting average (13-for-26). Rachel Lewis leads the team with 18 total bases and has posted a 1.129 OPS, while Maeve Nelson and Jordyn Rudd are tied for the conference lead with 10 RBI each.
