Northwestern Adds Another Win against Minnesota

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – Northwestern staged a huge comeback win Sunday afternoon to take down the Gophers 10-3.
Michael Trautwein led the charge with three RBIs and three runs. Evan Minarovic and Tony Livermore followed with two RBIs apiece. Tyler Uberstine pitched seven innings for the 'Cats only allowing three runs and throwing seven strikeouts with an ERA of 3.86
The Wildcats went down 3-0 in the fourth inning, but Livermore hit a deep triple down the middle to tie things up. Northwestern batted in an impressive five runs in the seventh inning to give them a decisive lead. Trautwein grabbed a two run home run to put the 'Cats up to ten and take the game away from Minnesota.
After beating out the Gophers twice in their three-game series, the 'Cats will face Minnesota one final time tomorrow at noon.
