Northwestern Baseball Announces 2022 Schedule

EVANSTON, Ill. - Northwestern baseball announced its 2022 schedule today. The 'Cats begin the 2022 campaign on February 18 and will host 24 games at Rocky and Berenice Miller Park.
Northwestern is set for 55 regular season games, including 24 Big Ten matchups.
The Wildcats head to Birmingham, Alabama on Feb. 18 for their opening series against UAB, then travel to California for a four-game set against Santa Clara.
After a weekend series in Cincinnati (March 4-6), the 'Cats head back to Evanston for their first homestand against Saint Thomas (March 11-13) and University of Evansville (March 18-20).
From there, Northwestern travels to Indiana for eight games, starting with a single game at Notre Dame on March 22 before heading to Indianapolis for matchups with Butler and SIU.
The 'Cats open Big Ten play against Indiana in Bloomington on April 1. Northwestern hosts weekend series against Penn State, Michigan State, Ohio State, and Purdue in conference play this season, while traveling to face Indiana, Illinois, Maryland, and Minnesota.
Northwestern also hosts UIC (April 5), Roosevelt (April 12), SLU (April 19), UW-Milwaukee (April 26), and Notre Dame (May 17) in mid-week, non-conference games.
At the conclusion of the regular season, the Wildcats are aiming for the Big Ten Tournament in Omaha, Neb. from May 25-30.
