Three Wildcats in Action at Western Michigan

EVANSTON, Ill. – Northwestern continues its fall season with three Wildcats in action this weekend at Western Michigan in the Betsy Kuhle Invitational.
Graduate Ema Lazic, sophomore Aino Alkio and sophomore Justine Leong will compete in singles for Northwestern.
Lazic and Leong last were in action at the ITA Midwest Super Regionals in Columbus, Ohio after qualiyfing throgh Midwest Regionals in Champaiagn. Leong earned a win over the No. 8 seed Ava Markham of Wisconsin in the first round.
Alkio competed in her first action of the 2021-22 season two weeks ago at the Roberta Alison Fall Alabama. She earned a win in straight sets in singles and secured two doubles wins as well.
