EVANSTON, Ill. – Northwestern resumes Big Ten play on Thursday with one of its biggest games on the season, facing Wisconsin, ranked No. 24 in RPI, on the road. Kickoff is set for 6 p.m. CT and will be streamed on Big Ten Network.

Northwestern is 3-2-1 at sixth place in the Big Ten and 7-5-1 overall after falling to Indiana, 1-0, this past Friday. Wisconsin is right behind Northwestern in the eighth spot with a record of 2-2-2 in the Big Ten, and an overall record of 7-3-4.The Badgers are coming off a 1-1 draw with Illinois, who Northwestern defeated 1-0 two Thursdays ago.

The Wildcats last competed against Wisconsin in the Big Ten Tournament quarterfinals which resulted in a 1-1 draw that was decided on penalty kicks 4-2 in favor of the Badgers. The goal in regulations from Lily Gilbertson was a career second.

Sophomore midfielder Josie Aulicino continues to lead the Northwestern offense with 19 points, seven assists and six goals, which all rank in the top five in the Big Ten. The Wildcats have six players with multiple goal contributions on the season, led by graduate midfielder Regan Steigleder, who scored game winning goals against Illinois and Nebraska earlier this Big Ten season.

Wisconsin's midfield is led by Natalie Viggiano with four goals and three assists. The Badger is the younger sister of former Wildcat standout Marisa, who graduated in 2018.
