EVANSTON, Ill. - No. 21 Northwestern (7-2, 5-2 B1G) looks to extend its three-game win streak as it welcomes Illinois (2-6, 0-5 B1G) to Welsh-Ryan Arena on Thursday. Tip-off is set for 6 p.m. CT and will be televised on Big Ten Network+.

Last time out, the Wildcats picked up a road win over Penn State behind 19 points and five steals from junior Veronica Burton. Lindsey Pulliam (17 points and eight rebounds) and Sydney Wood (13 points on 6-of-9 shooting) also scored double figures.

Northwestern continues an incredible season on both sides of the ball, leading the country with a +12.44 turnover margin. The 'Cats are also fifth in the nation with a 1.60 assist-to-turnover ratio.

The 'Cats defeated Illinois in both of their matchups last season taking the first 77-50 on the road and the second by a score of 75-58, thanks to 17 points from Lindsey Pulliam and 13 points from Veronica Burton. The latter clinched a Big Ten regular season title for Northwestern, its first since 1990.
