EVANSTON, Ill. – No. 22 Northwestern resumes conference play Sunday at Penn State. Tip off is set for 1 p.m. CT at the Bryce Jordan Center on Big Ten Network+.

Northwestern owns a 6-2 record (4-2 B1G) and sits fifth in the Big Ten. Penn State is 4-5 overall, 1-4 in conference play and 11th in the standings.

The Wildcats knocked off Iowa last time out on Saturday, 77-67, behind 19 points from Jordan Hamilton. The 'Cats held the Hawkeyes to 25 points below their season average and dropped them to 8-2.

Northwestern was scheduled to play at Rutgers on Thursday, but the game was postponed due to continued COVID concerns within the Rutgers program.

Northwestern is posting one of the best ball control seasons in NCAA history. Its turnover margin of +13.4 leads the country and would top the season-ending leaderboard dating back to at least 2010-11.

Additionally, the team's assist-to-turnover ratio of 1.81 leads the country. The team finished fourth nationally in that statistic last season.

Last season Northwestern swept the season series with Penn State, winning 85-59 at home and 82-59 on the road. Lindsey Pulliam averaged 20 points across the two contests.
