HOUSTON, Texas -- The Wildcats came away with another top-five finish down in the Lone Star State. The team finished the two-day tournament even with par, the first time the 'Cats have accomplished this feat since February 2020 at the Lady Puerto Rico Classic where they finished first.

Irene Kim led the charge for NU once again, finishing fourth in the final leaderboard. Brooke Riley finished in the top-10 for her seventh career top-10 placing. Kim and Riley combine for 14-under par across the three rounds.Â

Chicago's Big Ten Team will travel to California next week for the Bruin Wave Invitational in Somis, California. Last season, the 'Cats finished tied for third at the tournament. The three-day competition will begin on Wednesday, March 1.
