EVANSTON, IL – Combe Family Head Lacrosse Coach Kelly Amonte Hiller announced the addition of graduate transfer Sammy Mueller to Northwestern's 2020-21 roster. She joins the Wildcats after a standout career at the University of Virginia.
During her time in Charlottesville, Mueller tallied 165 goals, 50 assists, 171 ground balls, 84 caused turnovers and 204 draw controls in 69 games with 67 starts. She is also the younger sister of former All-Big Ten defensive standout, Ally Mueller ('18).
Amonte Hiller on Mueller: "We could not be more excited to welcome Sammy into our program. Sammy is a tremendous talent and an incredible teammate. Having her sister Ally in the program allowed us to see firsthand the values of work ethic and toughness that the Mueller family embodies. It is very rare to bring someone into your program with this level of experience and we can't wait to take advantage of that. We are looking forward to helping Sammy grow as a player and create strong chemistry with the incredible team we have in place"
