'Cats Cruise Past Indiana, 4-0

EVANSTON, Ill. - Northwestern took a 4-0 win over Indiana Friday night at an electrified Combe Tennis Center.
The Wildcats grabbed the doubles point with a 6-3 win for Clarissa Hand and Inci Ogut in the No. 2 spot followed by a 6-4 win by Caroline Pozo and Christina Hand in the No. 3 spot. In doubles 1, Julie Byrne and Hannah McColgan battled back from down 4-1 to take a 5-4 lead in an unfinished match.
Chicago's Big Ten Team started singles strong, winning the first set of each match. McColgan earned the first singles point for Northwestern in a 6-3, 6-1 rout and Byrne and Ogut finished the sweep, going 6-4, 6-4 and 6-3, 6-3 respectively.
The Wildcats will be back in action Sunday Mar. 1 for a matinee with Kansas. The match is slated to start at noon.
