BLOOMINGTON, IN. – Northwestern came out firing on all cylinders in its second game in Bloomington for a bounce-back victory over Pitt, 1-0.
Just two minutes into the game, sophomore Bardia Kimiavi tapped in the only goal for the Wildcats with an assist from junior goalkeeper, Miha Miskovic.
Miskovic was a force in the box, tallying seven saves and preserving the Wildcats' lead. The Zemun, Serbia native became the fourth Northwestern player in program history to reach the 100 saves mark.
Northwestern returns to Martin Stadium, for a home-opener under the lights on Friday, Sept. 6 at 7:30 against Lehigh in the Lakeside Classic. Tickets can be found here.
