Amonte Hiller Named IWLCA West/Midwest Coach of the Year

EVANSTON, Ill. – Combe Family Head Lacrosse Coach Kelly Amonte Hiller has been named IWLCA West/Midwest Regional Coach of the Year, the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association announced Thursday afternoon.
 
Amonte Hiller receives this honor after coaching the Wildcats to the 2019 NCAA Championship Semifinal for the first time since 2014. The Wildcats finished the season with a 16-5 record and two Big Ten Player of the Year Awards from Selena Lasota and Izzy Scane and the Co-Big Ten Coach of the Year Award.
 
In the 2019 season, Amonte Hiller guided her athletes to a Tewaaraton Finalist, Honda Sport Award Finalist, 12 Big Ten Player of Week awards, three IWLCA player of the week honors, four All-Big Ten Selections, 21 Academic All-Big Ten Honorees, four Inside Lacrosse All-Americans and an Elite 90 Winner.
 
All winners will be honored at the IWLCA Annual Meetings held November 20-22, 2019 at the Hilton West Palm Beach.
