CLE ELUM, Wash. — The Northwestern women's golf program is on the verge of its seventh-consecutive NCAA Championships appearance after two rounds at the NCAA West Regional.

Despite stumbling in the second round amidst high winds that gusted upwards of 20 miles per hour, the Wildcats are in fifth in the 18-team field. The top six teams and top three individuals will advance to the 2019 NCAA Championships in Fayetteville, Arkansas beginning May 17.

The 'Cats (5th; +10) will tee off in the final round on Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. CT alongside Arkansas (4th; +7) and Ohio State (T6th; +12). The No. 1 seed USC continues to lead the field at 10-under after posting the only score under par of the second round.
