EVANSTON, Ill. – Northwestern is set to play a mid-week game against Illinois State on Wednesday. The 'Cats were originally set to play the Redbirds on Tuesday, but, due to weather concerns and the cancelation of their game against Iowa at Impact Field on Wednesday, will now play Illinois State on Wednesday in Evanston.

This will be the 23rd all-time meeting between Northwestern and Illinois State, with NU holding a 14-8 advantage over the Redbirds.

Illinois State is 27-17 this season and just had a six-game winning streak snapped this weekend at Dallas Baptist.

The Wildcats are 3-0 in home mid-week games this season.
